Policy Terms And Conditions

When moving we can safely say you don’t have to do much, or say at least you only handle the lighter and small part of the job. Our main request is that you pack and label your boxes and any small items where you prefer them put at the delivery. All small fragile valuable items needs to be wrapped first then put in boxes then label the boxes. This makes your move swift, logical and cheaper as we will not take long to complete the move with all the instructions right in front of us.

Packing Moving Boxes & And Bags

When moving we prefer that you pack all small and expensive items separately and in secure labelled boxes. We also require identification of fragile items or property to ensure we provide adequate safety during transit. We are more than happy to help with packing some of the items if you are not sure how best to pack your items like Television. Packing of the whole house property into boxes can also be requested at an separate extra cost.

Booking Conditions

When booking, the full name used must be the person who own the property at the house that requires moving as shown on their government issued ID if required. For students, a copy of your student card is strictly required on booking and on the day of moving for student deals to be approved. If your student card is not available standard rates will apply. Our booking fee is 25 % of the total estimate cost of the moving and our minimum booking excluding students is 2 hours for all house property moving with 2 or more bedrooms, office furniture or factory machinery relocation. For 1 bedroom flat/ house moving and other transportation services with at most 2 items will be priced according to how much logistics is required by one of our consultants.

Pay Now Or Pay At Location

When booking is acknowledged via a quotation you are required to make a payment of at least 25% of the total cost to reserve your booking. Our prices are valid as long as the day the booking is intended is still available, we only reserve dates on confirmation and payment of the 25% deposit. It is also required that you make payment 48 hours prior to the job scheduled date or time, so if your job is due in less than 48 hours please make deposit payment immediately. Unfortunately we cannot deprive or deny serious customers a service if your payment is not made. We communicate by text messages, phone call or email; messaging may be used to notify booking confirmation before we send you an official email. We prefer to seal all our communication conversations with an email or cell phone text message. When payment is made and there seem to be issues with transfer to our account we only allow time frames of 24 hours on a working day for payments to clear. If funds are not received on our side within 24 hours it becomes the customer’s responsibility to investigate the payment glitches encountered. Always include your booking reference when making deposit payment for your booking details to be finalised.

Risks

While we take care to ensure your belongings are always safe, there are some situations we cannot control or avoid like accidents and natural disasters. These accidents rarely happen but may not be avoided so we would like to inform our clients that in terms of insuring your goods we are not yet prepared to cover that aspect. Your property insurance will come into play if any accident result in your property being damaged. Obviously it is our prime goal to move you safely, we have strict safety measures in place to protect your property including careful driving. So, rest assured you are in safe hands.

Cancellations - All Booking Types

  • You may cancel your booking at any time 48 hrs before your job scheduled time by calling the booking team.
  • Depending on when you cancel, you may be charged a cancellation fee or no-job fee if we arrive at your location and you no longer want the job done on that day. If you need to cancel and its more than 48 hours prior to your job scheduled time, you will be refunded the pre-paid amount in full.
  • If you fail to cancel your booking 48 hours prior to your job scheduled time, 25% of the total paid fares will be forfeited. This is because we get other customer inquiries but we cannot book them on the same day with your reserved booking.
  • You should retain your invoice number, as it is necessary for any modifications and cancellations. Modifications or Cancellations to your prepay reservation must be made with our booking team.
  • Amounts indicated above are inclusive of GST fees.

Payment Methods

Payment options are currently via bank transfer to our ANZ bank account. We provide the account details on the deposit invoice.

Fares

  • Your quoted fares and rates are based on the route for your particular job schedule. Any change to your moving needs to be discussed and quoted.
  • Your total booking and service fee is calculated based on the information provided at time of reservation. If this information does not match the property to be moved we will discuss and agree the estimate cost for the job with you for our team to go ahead.
  • Change of dates may result in additional charges if not done in 48 hours. These additional charges are guided by the standard terms and conditions of business services in New Zealand, we may have to source out on call staff services to cover your job.

Requirements For Booking And On Moving

We would like a reservation number or booking confirmation details on the day your job is being done. This is for formality and to confirm we are providing service to the right address.

Privacy Policy

The collection, use, disclosure and retention of your information, including your personal information provided to us in connection with payment for our services and products, or participation in our programs, whether directly by you or on your behalf through a payment service, is subject our Privacy terms. Our privacy policy enforces that no personal information including names and services provided will be given or provided to a third party. Only at times we are required by New Zealand law to provide this information to the Authorities, in this case we will abide by the law. If you would like us to provide any detail to someone or to you, you are required to write us a formal email indicating your request.
